Gracefully decaying….tulips

A comment from Margaret this morning led me to dig out this collage of decaying tulips to demonstrate how I have seen them decaying gracefully in the past:

But this image below remains my absolute favourite:

  1. These are lovely photos, and clever technically too. Thanks for the mention!

  2. They always look so lovely on a white background. Some of my tulips are beginning to colour up – a little early I think!

  3. One of your favorite things and one you do so well. I think these would make beautiful sets of cards.

  4. Lovely decay indeed Sue. I agree with your choice of favorite.

  5. These are gorgeous, Sue. They have the qualities of antique botanical prints.

  6. They certainly do fade more elegantly than the daffodils in your earlier post.

  7. They look more like paintings 🙂

  8. The magic and wistfulness of wilting flowers … lovely!

  9. Wonderful images, Sue. I hope I can decay just as gracefully.
