Wonderful captures, Sue. I wonder if your subjects had any idea of how they’d look against these patterned backdrops. So artistic. 🙂
I dare say not! Glad you like these, Sylvia!
Brilliant Sue, exactly what I was thinking of. I love the first one, but the others also fit the brief perfectly. Thanks so much!
Yay! Happy to oblige!
I have to say I love these!
Many thanks!
Wonderful photos Sue.
Thank you, CarMac!
Wonderful Sue 🙂
Which did you like best?
The black and white. The first one has impact though 🙂
Ah yes…because the colour doesn’t detract!
Creative captures
I try!!
Nicely done, Sue. The first one alone nailed it! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, those pillars were great!
Well done Sue. I too like that first one. I keep looking, but so far have not found anything as good as this selection.
Thanks very much, Pauline! Now, I’m going to ask you, as an artistic lady, if you needed to show something that said ‘belonging’, what would spring to mind?
That is a challenge Sue. Hmmm…. had to ponder on that question. I asked jack, he said “family”. But after a lot of thought I think for me belonging is “country” I feel a deep sense of being Australian, belonging here, even though I wasn’t born here… is it for a photo challenge? It would be a hard one….
Yep, my photo club….and I don’t have a strong enough image
You nailed it, Sue! Great stuff 🙂 🙂 Happy weekend!
Thanks, Jo! Hope you have a busy weekend coming…
That first shot is really excellent, Sue. But all ‘good to go’ for Jude’s pattern exercise.
Thanks for your thoughts, Tish!
I haven’t yet risen to this challenge. But you have. And so well. I particularly like the second one, in which the quietly absorbed reader has all hell breaking loose behind her!
Teehee! 😊😊
Wow! A picture of two people talking to one another. That would be an excellent photo challenge in itself. I liked the one with the woman calmly reading the paper before that dazzling artwork. If you don’t look too closely and see the chair legs it appears she is seated on the art.
Glad you enjoyed these, Elizabeth…..and not a mobile phone in sight!
great and perfect captures Sue!!
Thank you,Hannah!
I agree with favoring the first, but you did a great job with all of them.

The * basket weave patterned pillars as background are brilliant for this challenge Sue . Well found 😉
Thanks, Poppy!

I am in awe of you xxxx
Oh, goodness, Becky!
These are excellent for Jude’s challenge, Sue. 🙂 I love them all
Thank you, Cathy!
🙂
Love the vibe of each shot – and patterns of course – so much art with the designs and looks of the people – fun post
Glad you enjoyed these!
