Lens-artist’s Photo Challenge #85: Treasure Hunt

Tina has given us a great challenge this week! We’re seeking out treasure!
I’ve had a good search through the archives and this is what I’ve come up with:

An expressive portrait of a couple of Halloween people seen in Seville:

A street performer, a  musical instrument and an expressive portrait are three treasures combined – seen in Porto (I loved his cheeky grin):

A vivid sunset seen in Lanzarote:

Intense sunset

Some animals I don’t normally see- some buffalo in Romania (and this is also a mountain landscape, but you don’t really get that from this image!):

Water buffalo and cattle in Maramures, Romania

  1. Great shots all, especially the street performer.

  2. Banjo-Man does have a great face! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Excellent choices, Sue – just love the musician!

  4. These are all fun, Sue. Half the fun for me was trolling through all my saved photos to find the one I wanted of the boy and the dog. Actually, it got a bit frustrating, but overall it was fun discovering shots I’d forgotten about. I wish I had some good way of storing and labeling my photos, but I left it much too long and it would be a monumental task to do now, especially while getting ready to move. 😦 Sigh. I need to start where I am and go from there.

  5. Wonderful shots Sue! I especially love the pics of the banjo player (imagine the story Pete could come up with for that!) and the gorgeous sunset.🥰

  6. I agree the street performer is the runaway hit this week Sue, but I’m a bit partial to the two fellows in your opener. Obviously comfortable in their own skins 🙂

  7. Amy

Treasures, indeed, Sue! I love the smiles of the first one. The sunset is absolutely gorgeous!

    • Sue

Nothing like a good smile, eh, Amy! That sunset was brilliant, I asked my friends if they would excuse me from the dinner table while I took a photograph!

  8. Such a happy vibe from your selections for the treasure hunt theme 😉

  9. Excellent variety. Very nice.

  10. Lovely set but that smiling clown face is disturbing. 🙂

Seems you have lots of *treasures to unearth Sue 😉
Good work finding the bonus points with Banjo man !
💕 the sunset in Lanzarote ..wouldn’t have seen such over the last few days 😦 with the sandstorm .. surreal pictures I’ve seen in the news .

  12. Banjo man for me too. It’s a really wonderful image.

  13. Another thumbs up for banjo man – lovely picture😊
