An ice-cold morning, some years ago. Frost on the trees and ice underfoot. The lake (not shown!) was frozen. No apologies for showing this image again…winter:

Where’s Mr. Tumnus?
Hiding…
😊
Wonderful. We haven’t had winter this year.
Not yet…March??
This works well, reminds me of a woodcut.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, very true!
Lovely image Sue; so spare and crisp, like an etching.
Thanks, Su….I can’t remember what I used in post-processing, but it was quite effective!
Brrrr…..happily not something we often see around here Sue. But it does make for wonderful photography!
Oh, it was a good few years ago
And where’s the lamp post? 🙂 Lovely, lovely shot, Sue.

It does look a bit Narnia, doesn’t it?!!
Ohhh, Sue. This is beautiful.
Many thanks, Patti!
Very nice, Sue. And a definite hint of Narnia
Thanks, Debbie!
It looks soooooo cold, Sue. I feel some sadness that I don’t have ice and snow to photograph, but not enough sadness to want to give up our warmth for a visit north. LOL
😊😊
Beautiful and dreamy, Sue. Interesting post-processing.
Thanks, Jane 😊
Wonderful.
Thanks!
This is lovely – such delicacy
Thank you, Anna!
No apologies needed. It’s just a lovely and very graphical photo. I love the simplicity of it all. Can almost feel how fragile the person feels in the cold of the winter.
Thanks for your comment, Otto!
Awesome and surreal. I like what you’ve done here. 😀
Glad you enjoyed this!
