Just before we switch to a new prompt, I thought I needed to get a move on and post for Special Spot shots…
I’m choosing Lucca, a place where I was enchanted, and the camera loved it:
Full of narrow, winding streets
shadows and shutters:

The wonderful Piazza del Anfiteatro:

This one has been shown recently, but hey, it was great in the low light!

And the next morning, I was up watching the sun rise

I have many more images, but can’t lay my hands on them right now

Oh, such a gorgeous place, Sue! What lovely images, colours, architecture – Tuscany of course! And your inquisitive lens!
Many thanks, Ann Christine! My inquisi, give Lens, indeed!
😀
Good choice, Sue 🙂 🙂 I loved it too.
Thank you, Jo! Have you been there?
Just one brief visit on my Florence trip a few years ago. Lucca in the morning and Piza in the afternoon. Non-stop entertainment, Sue 🙂 🙂
Cor, you never stop, do you!
Not if I can help it 🙂 🙂 I adored Florence and wanted to spend the minimum time away from it.
Good for you!
Beautiful gallery, Sue. Thanks for taking me back there. 🙂
A pleasure, Sylvia!
I can see why it enchanted you, Sue. Nice memories.
Best wishes, Pete.
Great memories!
It does look lovely. I think the autocorrect gremlins have been playing though 🤔
Oh, I haven’t checked…
Marvelous Sue! Love those tiny little streets/alleys. Only in Europe – such a classic. And of course your glorious sunrise shot!
I love small streets, characterful, atmospheric… and seeing that sunrise was great, amazed I got up so early!
Great views of Lucca Sue 🙂
It’s a great place!
Great shots.
Thank you, John!
Definitely a place I’d like to revisit, half a day wasn’t really long enough, so thanks for this reminder of this magical city, Sue!
A pleasure, Chris!
