Sunrise

The rising sun in the Gironde a few years ago (I don’t tend to be up with the lark these days):

  1. I also have to make do with other people’s sunrises these days, Sue. 🙂
It is only 8 years since I used to see them on the way home from, or going into work, but it seems like a very distant memory now.
    Best wishes, Pete.

Yes, one of the advantages of the short days of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Unless you consider 7:30 early.

  3. Beautiful! I hope your lunch went well 🙂 🙂

  4. Lovely! It’s worth getting up betimes …

  5. Did you happen to note which month you took the photo? I am intrigued by the different slant of light in different months.

  6. Very nice, Sue. A warming and relaxed image.
I’m not a big sunrise capturer and I have no excuse other than not being a morning person!

  7. Wonderful warm sunrise tones and great silhouette, Sue.

  8. A beautiful sunrise. I don’t see many of those and especially at the moment when every day I awake to cloud…

  9. Previous sunrises are fine with me, but at least this time of year it’s relatively easy to get out to see one, although each day it will be come a little bit harder as the sunrise comes earlier. Have to admit it’s my favorite time of day to be outside.
