The light was streaming through the blinds this morning, so here’s a Still Life with shadows, from the remains of last evening’s table:
And here is what I saw in the kitchen – the miniature reflection of the tree in the glass was exquisite, but I just couldn’t quite capture it in camera:
Nice use of the light, Sue. It has been so bright here today, we had to close the curtains for a while. 🙂
Not complaining though.
Best wishes, Pete.
I should jolly well hope you’re not complaining, Pete!!
No, I’m smiling! 🙂
Woohoo!
Pete is right, great light! The sun is out in Cley too so we are off to the reserve.

Have a wonderful day, Sue.
Thank you, Dina! Have a lovely day yourselves!
Beautiful Sue 😀

Many thanks, Madhu!
Yes, a lovely image. Cheers!
Thank you!
Nice try, Sue! We had a lovely Christmas. Grey and damp now as we head for the airport 🤗💕
Home soon!
Now, in fact 😁💕
Good Christmas?
Yes, I really enjoyed it, Sue. A bit sad to be back but that will pass. 🙂 🙂
Yes, I’ve had a very sociable few days, and feeling a bit empty now…..but that will pass
The down side of being ‘up’. 🙂 🙂 Glad you had a good time. We have a couple of nice things planned in the week ahead.
Indeed, we need the ‘downs’ to truly appreciate the ‘ups’
Forget about a “play on words.” You are magnificent with a “play on light and shadows.”
Thank you ver y much!
The picture of the wine bottle is very evocative of a lovely evening to come.
