I seem to be having a busy (for me) week this week, so I’m rather late with this post.
Actually, the rewards of waiting have been more evident to me since my health has become more of a challenge, and I can’t zip around like I used to. I need to rest more, and I can rest and observe, and then await moments…
I was reading an article about Vivienne Mayer, and the author said “She waited until the instant the shutter should be released in order to capture the moment best.”
I have done that myself when taking Street photographs, finding a good background and awaiting the ‘right’ person to appear in the frame

Also, on another note, it might be waiting for the sun to break through the clouds
After the Storm?
Also, waiting for the light coming through the window of my lounge to do interesting things at certain times of the day

Well, there you are! All good things come to he who waits, my Mam used to say. Personally I always had my doubts but I very much like ‘After the storm’. 🙂 🙂 The people ones are good but I hate that guy letching at the ‘lady’ in pink, Sue. I’m just an old fuddy, duddy!

Ah yes – slowing down is so worthwhile, but I am sorry it is being forced on you by health. We can be in so much of a rush that we miss a lot. I’m discovering the joy of slow progress – a choice in my case and not forced upon me I’m glad to say. It amounts to a different way of ‘seeing’
