Six Word Saturday: Of considerable Contrasts and Contre Jour

Six Words in the title only

Yesterday , and for a few days prior, I was enjoying summer temperatures, bright sunshine, blue sky and wonderful light and shadows…….but I’m now home to grey sky, pelting rain and vicious wind.

Anyway, here’s a contre-jour image as a reminder of brighter days!

Linked to Six Word Saturday at Debbie’s here

  1. We have that wind and rain here today too. YUK!
    Nice contrast indeed, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Excellent light and shade. And yes, a good antidote to current gloom.

  3. I’ve just heard the weather forecast. For once, you’ve go it worse than us ‘It’s Grim Up North’ types.

  4. Wind & rain here, too, big time; but no power outage thanks to the new generator!

  5. Great image Sue. Nice to have had a sunny break away and a meet up with our favourite lady!

  6. Wonderful spacing of the pedestrians. Almost looks planned.

  7. Seville Sue? What lovely light.

  8. Great, Sue – in the foggy and drizzling darkness up here as well.

  9. Glad you managed to make something of the light and shade, Sue. I’ve barely had time to look at mine properly, and I’ve left camera and phone at friends this evening, accidentally. Nothing to do with alcohol… 🙂 🙂

  10. One good thing about photography Sue – you can go back mentally to better weather LOL. Lovely image

  11. My guess is that you were in Seville!
