Lens-artist’s Photo Challenge # 66: Fill the frame

These days when I’m out and about, I can find it tricky to fill the frame as I use a prime lens, and can’t ‘zoom  with my feet’ these days. Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to crop fairly heavily…

Flowers and Still Life and scenes are a different matter, fine filling the frame!

So here are some examples – I loved the light in this one:

I was very close to this Cuban lady, using a wide angle lens, and filled the frame effectively:

Flowers can obligingly fill the frame:

This one was a scene I saw from a moving Tuk-tuk in Lisbon, and the man, café table and bike filled the frame perfectly

  1. Great examples, Sue. And don;’t feel bad about cropping – I often do!

  2. Great examples, Sue, of filling the frame. The colors and texture of the flower are marvelous. I am really drawn to your last shot. It brings back memories of the cafe culture there.

  3. Love the mixture & light

  4. The light in your opener is definitely stunning!
