  1. I had many trips on that railway over the years. Thanks for taking me back, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Somehow it reminded me of Harry Potter 😊. A fun and interesting choice for the week Sue

  3. I remember going on that one when my now over 6ft tall 17 yr old grandson was a toddler! Was it really that long ago? I hope you visited Sheffield Park whilst in the area.

  4. Great photos. I love trains, old and new.

  5. Lovely atmospheric photos, Sue. The romance of steam, hey? Smutty, awful stuff as I recall but there was definitely something magical about them. 🙂 🙂

  6. I love the magic of old trains and railways. So nostalgic. So beautiful.

  7. Fascinating images, Sue. It’s been a very long time since I had a Fry’s Chocolate Cream. 😢

  8. There’s just something about getting away . . . Lovely entry for this challenge!

  9. A magical trip to the past, Sue. A great choice for this week’s theme. Your shots of the old-fashioned calligraphy/signs are marvelous. Definitely a step back in time.

  10. Love the reflections in the second picture – they make the train look like a ghost from the past 🙂
