I wanted to take an image through the alleyway with that bike, but had a wide angle lens on, so I ended up with an entirely different image. But it’s still about that bicycle, for me:
I need to find that place again – those red columns and the iron gates are rather intriguing. But of course, the bike will have gone….
The front column doesn’t appear to support anything. I’m wondering if it is an air vent, or a sewer outlet?
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, I was wondering myself, Pete!
Why not crop it?
Wrong angle, lack of detail…..
I like the contrast in distance on the sides as well as the red columns.

Thank you, Janet!
Could you be becoming a tiny bit obsessive, Sue? 🙄 You’ve got me at it too!
Obsessive, moi? I just take the opportunities as they present themselves, Jo!
I like it Sue. A bit of a treasure hunt or hide and seek to find the bicycle.
Hope you have had a good summer!
Many thanks, Sue! I hope your summer has been great!
Yes having a lovely summer snuggling another wee granddaughter.
Ah, bless!
Do you ride a bicycle to get these photos of bikes?
Alas no,, the last time was very briefly nearly a decade ago- my balance is very poor now, so a definite no-no.
They say you never forget but that hasn’t been my experience either.
Well, if your physical health is OK, I reckon it’s true, but when the body has issues, another story!
I agree with you on that one.
Thanks!
Sue, world-class … very interesting image.
Many thanks, Vivi!!
That’s a good capture Sue – works well with the guy in front too
Many thanks, Debbie….did you get the alleyway?
