Street / 65 Three in a Row

Sign of the times….All intent on on their mobile devices…. oblivious to the world around.

Welcome to 21st century living- remember when a phone was a phone, and you had to find a box on the street?

  1. I can see myself in that 🤷🏻‍♀️

  2. I still don’t get that ‘phone obsession’. I often forget to take mine with me when I go out. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. I think so many people these days miss the immediate life going on around them just because they’re always on their phones, often even with friends and family. I think it’s very sad. If I go off and forget my phone, I have to metaphorically slap myself in the face and remind myself that it wasn’t that many years ago we still had a landline and not that many more that we didn’t have cell phones…and we survived!! 🙂 There’s good and bad about the immediacy of the cell phone, that’s for sure. I always like to have mine because of the camera, but I admit I sometimes struggle not to be checking it all the time. I’ve turned off notifications, which helps.

  4. I’m one of five in a waiting room at the moment. We’re all on our phones.

  5. At least it stops people bothering you whilst waiting for a bus! Or sitting next to you.

  6. These are our times…the face on the wall seems to have an idea about 🙂
