Six Word Saturday: The heady scent of old-fashioned roses

I had a very fleeting visit to the Walled Garden in Sunbury yesterday, and there were still a few roses flowering, but what was most striking was the gorgeous scent….

Sadly, I can’t send you that fragrance, but here are a couple of images:

Linked to Six Word Saturday at Debbie’s here

  1. Lovely. Roses are one of my favourite flowers.

  2. Oh yes. I can – almost – smell them.

  3. I can almost smell them, Sue! Thank you for sharing your sunny flowers.

  4. I’m taking a deep breath and I’m sure I can smell them, Sue. Even surrounded by high rise new builds in Leeds. You’d think they’d give the builders Saturday morning off, wouldn’t you? 😆🌸🌺🌼🌹💕

  5. It is so nice when they have the lovely scent. So many flowers these days seem to have none at all.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. The thing I most regret about all the new, beautiful hybrids is their lack of scent. This garden must be wonderful indeed.

  7. Beautiful! And a great 6 worder 🙂

  8. Beautiful, all roses should be fragrant!
