I had a very fleeting visit to the Walled Garden in Sunbury yesterday, and there were still a few roses flowering, but what was most striking was the gorgeous scent….
Sadly, I can’t send you that fragrance, but here are a couple of images:

Lovely. Roses are one of my favourite flowers.
dropping by from 6WS
Thanks, Suzy!
Oh yes. I can – almost – smell them.
Ah, that’s good!
I can almost smell them, Sue! Thank you for sharing your sunny flowers.
Thank you, Marion!
I’m taking a deep breath and I’m sure I can smell them, Sue. Even surrounded by high rise new builds in Leeds. You’d think they’d give the builders Saturday morning off, wouldn’t you? 😆🌸🌺🌼🌹💕
They’re working onSaturday?? Aaargh
I suspect a team of East European workers 😆. Good weekend yourself?
Quite quiet..🙁
You can have some of my noise? 🙂 🙂
No, the Grand Prix will fill my ears…!!
It is so nice when they have the lovely scent. So many flowers these days seem to have none at all.
Best wishes, Pete.
Absolutely – that is something that gets me moaning!
The thing I most regret about all the new, beautiful hybrids is their lack of scent. This garden must be wonderful indeed.

It is a lovely little place- they do have some hybrids, but thankfully some great old- fashioned varieties… 😊😊
Beautiful! And a great 6 worder 🙂
Glad you like it, Debbie!
Beautiful, all roses should be fragrant!
Well, that’s what I think….and the same with freesias, most of which are devoid of fragrance these day.s
