Street / 62

Probably the penultimate one from Coal Drops Yard from the recent visit.

The first was monochrome, as is this one…

  1. I find the theme of streets to be so metaphoric. And really like this in B&W

  2. Nobody sitting outside? Was it too hot, I wonder?
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. To me, streets represent our life-journey. Where are we headed? What is the journey like? Is my goal clear? That kind of thing. I can take a street photo and write about it. For example, in this photo, who is that woman behind the others and what is she up to. I guess they are a starting point for reflection. Have I totally messed with you, now?

Oh, brilliant, Victoria….I could only think Street as Life, but not elucidate! You most certainly haven’t messed with me, just made me realise that’s why I don’t ‘do’ poetry well…must have another go at writing one day, a few years now….

  4. An interesting place and it looks great in B&W

  5. Loved the photos and had to look up where they were having no idea. Coal Drop Yards is a very intriguing name for the place.

  6. Coffee is calling me 🙂
