Six Word Saturday: Nobody around to play croquet today

Linked to Six Word Saturday at Debbie’ here

  1. Shame! I’d give it a go 🙂 🙂

  2. I’ve never played croquet only read about it in books.

dropping by from the 6WS linkup

  3. I love croquet, it’s hilarious in the rain (although maybe not pouring rain!)

  4. I never did learn the rules, but I have smacked the balls around with a mallet on occasion. 🙂
    (Mostly when staying at hotels)
Where I come from, it was regarded as a game for ‘Toffs’. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. I haven’t played croquet for years. We used to play when I was growing up.

  6. Forget the croquet – I want that dear little shelter, be fabulous for my potting bench and would mean I wouldn’t get sunburned/wet/wind blown!!

  7. Perhaps the solitude is even better. Besides, I always miss the wicket-thingamajig.

  8. Croquet always reminds me of Alice In Wonderland.

  9. But at least you won’t be tripping over the wickets.
