July Squares : Blue (18)

Today, I’m starting a few days of meandering through old journeys, and this one is from Camaguey in Cuba a decade and a half ago…to my horror, I only took one image of these splendid colonial buildings, from across the street:

How  I wish I had peered inside! Hindsight is a cruel thing at times….

  1. wow what a stunning building . . . and it is bizarre isn’t it how we so often only take one photo of something.

  2. These days we capture every nuance of everything, don’t we, Sue? But then, we have more time 🙂 🙂 They’re beautiful, and you have the memories.

  3. Oh, Memory Lane is a good idea… even if you wish you’d kept more memories.

  4. It’s a stunning shot, Sue.

Thanks, Tish! Taken with my first digital camera, a tiny point and shoot with about 4MP! Very limited, but I did get a few OK images!

  5. I always find colonial architecture appealing, and this building is a great example.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. Lovely building and delicious color!

  7. Lovely building. And you may only have one shot, but it’s a good one.

  8. You’ll just have to imagine how beautiful it would be inside.
