One Word Sunday – Aerial

Best I could come up with for this one is a view from a window in the cabin of an old 1960s Antonov as we were flying along the coast near the Sierra Madre mountains of Cuba….

And a great shot it is!

I was amazed it came out so well, as I had the most basic camera at the time, and the windows weren’t sparkling clear!

  2. That reminded me of so many flights with Aeroflot, and the aircraft that seemed to be just held together with glue and string. Not to mention the rather fearsome cabin crew! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. It almost looks as if you were flying along outside the plane. Lovely shot.

  4. It’s a great one, Sue. The delicacy of the plane is clear, and you’ve managed to combine fear (mine, at least) with beauty.
