I don’t often do delicate, but I’m having a look to see what I can find…
First up was this image I took in the White Garden at Sissinghurst, Kent a good few years ago. The grasses appealed

….and for more delicate nature, how about the delicate colours of an orchid:

Ann Christine was talking of the delicate beginnings of plants in the Spring, but conversely, in the early part of the year, I like to have a look to see what delicate remains of petals or leaves I can find from the previous year’s growth:

Last year, I took a Still Life featuring some delicate, fluffy parts of some seed pods:

Orchids work for me, Sue. They are ‘delicate’ indeed.
Best wishes, Pete.
This was one my late mother had, and she nurtured it for years!
Petals or leaves from the previous year are beautifully captured. 🙂
Many thanks, Amy!
All beautiful choices sue – I love the composition of the orchids
Thanks, Tina, I played about with POV a bit….
These are all perfect for the challenge, Sue. Although I like them all quite a lot, I like the one in B&W especially.

Thanks, Janet – I presume you mean the decaying petals…not actually B&W, but fairly heavily desaturated for effect!
beauty
Many thanks!
They are all lovely Sue, but the orchid has my heart.
Thank you, Su – it was very beautiful
All perfect, Sue! I thought you might also take some delicate decay to your posting…love it. The Hydrangea (?) is my favorite!
The decaying petals are from a little clematis, A C….glad you like these!
You are a master of decay beauty, Sue!
Thank you, Ann Christine!
Skeleton leaves are my favourite – so delicate and lacy.
They are rather lovely, aren’t they!
All are beautiful, Sue. But the fluffy things is my favorite. They look like paintings. It’s beautiful art..
Thank you, Nurul! They just floated onto the table as the decaying petals fell off the plant
I love each one of these!
Thank you, Gilly! I didn’t initially think I had anything worth posting for this!
I think you do delicate rather well!
Nice of you to say so, Michael! I was trying to think of something less obvious, but gave up and posted these!
i like the still life photo of the seed pods. Really cool shot.
Many thanks, Jeff!
love these Sue!
Many thanks, Ritva! I found I had more delicate than thought I had!
it is a surprise what you can find when you look in the archives.
Very true – I am occasionally very amazed at how much I have forgotten!
These are lovely. Delicate and beautifully captured.
Many thanks, Margaret!
