Outside the barber’s on a gloomy day in London….why is it everyone is checking their phones these days? I liked the patina of age in the brickwork and window frame, and all those photographs on the interior wall, and the interesting clutter.
This image was going to be another ‘One’, but there’s half of another man clearly visible through the window:
What a very excellent photo, Sue. V. atmospheric.
Many thanks, Tish – it was a dull, wet day and I think that added to the atmosphere!
That’s an atmospheric old-style barber shop indeed, Sue. I think people check their phones all the time because they are lonely, and hope that someone, somewhere is actually trying to contact them. Judging from the look on his face, it seems he is destined to be unwanted and unloved. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
It’s also an addiction – check those screens!
I check my phone to see what new photos you’ve posted… 😁
Teehee!!
I love this photo – several stories going on at the same time here…
Great! That’s what I try to do with my images! Thanks for commenting
