Street / 49

Outside the barber’s on a gloomy day in London….why is it everyone is checking their phones these days? I liked the patina of age in the brickwork and window frame, and all those photographs on the interior wall, and the interesting clutter.

This image was going to be another ‘One’, but there’s half of another man clearly visible through the window:

  1. What a very excellent photo, Sue. V. atmospheric.

  2. That’s an atmospheric old-style barber shop indeed, Sue. I think people check their phones all the time because they are lonely, and hope that someone, somewhere is actually trying to contact them. Judging from the look on his face, it seems he is destined to be unwanted and unloved. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. I check my phone to see what new photos you’ve posted… 😁

  4. I love this photo – several stories going on at the same time here…

  5. A huge puffy coat and a bald head. Guess which part doen’t feel the cold 🙂

  6. Amy

Fun capture, Sue! Wonderful observation. 🙂

  7. Love this one, Sue. Cell phones are always demanding attention it seems. 😳

  8. Perhaps he is checking to see if you have posted any new photos Sue?
