Lens-artist’s Photo Challenge #45: Street Art

Patti has chosen a subject I love, so I shall pick a few of my favourites, mostly London street art as that is where I most often see it

This was one of the first murals I saw, and I wanted to make a record of more than just the street art:

Demon

I loved this little group of jazz musicians

Away from London, this was seen in Bayamo, Cuba

Cyclist and mural

….and this in Havana

Back in London, I liked this simple creation:

A nice cup of brew…

This was a creation by the artist Phlegm

Tubes

This is one of Sik’s  creations:

Stik and Sprite

And a Street Artist whose name I can never remember, I have seen a good amount of his work in London over the years, ET goes bad in this one:

  1. LOL for ET goes bad Sue! My favorite of this terrific set is the sepia mural in Cuba. Gorgeous set!

  2. A subject just made for your collection, Sue. Always enjoyable to see them.
    Best wishes, Pete.

A good selection of examples there, Sue. I think my favourite is the first one. The imposing demon adds a nice contrast.

  4. Some great ones here, Sue! Love them all, but must say the simple one for tea sooks so homely and cosy and nice! You even got a woman wearing the same colours! Well done.

  5. Ha, “looks” it was supposed to be…

  6. Great collection. I especially love the musicians.

  7. Great collection. Am a street art fan myself. Especially love the musicians and the ones by Phlegm and Sik.

  8. What a fun collection, Sue. The ET gone rogue is my favorite, but it IS always time for tea. 🙂 English Breakfast, of course. 🙂

Glad you like these, Patti! ET gone rogue is, I’m sure, a comment on social problems…. It is always time for tea, but Earl Grey in my case!

What a cool collection, Sue! Thank you for introducing to us!

  10. Great street art find Sue 🙂
