I was chatting on the blog to Margaret21 (from Pyrenees toPennines) earlier, as she was admiring the street art that I had posted from Lisbon. She mentioned Berlin’s East Side Gallery, which had me looking up images I took in 2003….here’s one of them:
Love the co-ordination between girl and wall, but not the weird sky….I have found that odd yellow tinge before from scanned transparencies….
Now I’m pretty sure that one is no longer there. In fact I’ve just looked at all my Berlin photos, which is not definitive proof. But I think I’d have taken a picture of a striking image like that.
Well, it was 16 years ago!
Wow! Fantastic photo!
Many thanks!!
I love how you captured the young lady was looking toward the end of this long wall. Great shot, Sue!
Pleased you like it, Amy!
Great piece of history, Sue. That part is gone now.
Well, it was a long time ago! I feel privileged to have seen some of history
When I went to Berlin, it was still in East Germany. I stayed in the DDR, and did a day trip to the west.
