To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
She certainly makes a contrast with the traditional architecture beyond.
She certainly did!
That is a nice old house, and the door is beautiful. The steps look very steep though. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Too steep for me!
Texture around the door entrance – such detail
It was rather nice!
That is a very poetic photo. Love it.
Thanks!
This one is very well captured. 🙂
I actually have to disagree, Amy, as I inadvertently included two extra people in the shot!
Lovely architecture indeed, Sue, especially around the door.

Yes, that door was great
the architcture is good – but there is so much to like here.
the eye goes from her – her backpack – to her raised foot –
then my eyes went to the stairs right near her – then the stone wall – the railing – then the hidden people – and then up the stairs – and the eye find more! four windows to the right (straight lines) and that ornately-trimmed door – the whole shot has light and dark and that zig zag –
this is a great photo to stand alone….
This was a spur of the moment shot, but it worked!
really did
😊😊
Contrary as ever, I would have loved her to walk towards you, Sue 🙂 🙂 I see you have lots for me to catch up with!
Cheeky, cheeky! And I’m keeping you on your toes, Jo!
