I liked the rustic looking display:

Hahaha!
A very atmospheric capture, Sue. Love the mood and the light in this one.
Hope your weekend has started as sunny as here on the coast. Have a good one. x
Thanks, Dina! Alas, we have mostly cloud here, but that was the forecast…..
oh yes, a very nice display. I can never visit Borough Market without succumbing to food!
With all the stuff on offer, it’s hard to resist! I got some lovely Treviso from a greengrocer, wonderful solid dark rye bread with caraway, and some large, sweet blueberries that tasted redolent of bilberries, which I miss
Oh, wow! It looks like they imported every piece of wood in this display. And yes, VERY tempting!
Yes, it does rather!
Nice cheese stall, Sue. Did you buy any cheese? 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
It was most atmospheric…I didn’t buy cheese as I had already got a few things!
But is that all you liked?!! 😉
In food terms, or photographic ones?
Photographic!! (Food is a given in my head 😊)
Oh, I got a few, but not as good. I was with a non-photographer friend, so didn’t want to be doing too much. The main purpose was to scout the place out, I shall be back!
Ah the trials and tribulations of being with non photographic friends. MrB is fully trained now but my friends still need working on!!!
No, there is a time and place for everything!!
V. appealing. Nothing like proper cheese in its own skin.
Totally agree, Tish…I don’t like plastic, supermarket bland tasteless cheese!!
great setting – and the details pulled me right in
Thanks, Prior….it was an inviting scene! Well, the entire market is!
That is a lovely scene, not to mention the cheeses!
I thought it ticked a lot of boxes, Jude!
I really like this shot! I visited there a couple years ago, it’s such a busy place, not easy to take photos there.
Great photo, Sue!
Luckily, it wasn’t crazy busy when we arrived at 11.30!
I agree with Dina, the photograph’s got so much warmth and balance; a deceptively difficult thing to pull off quickly indoors.
Many thanks, John!
You couldn’t have posted this at a worse time. We NEVER run out of cheese, but today we have, and it’s a 50+ kilometre trip to replenish stocks. At least it’s a great photo!
Ŷikes, 70 mile round trip for cheese……sorry to have added to your woes with temptation, Meg..
Only 50km round trip – halve your yikes!!!
😀😀😀
I would buy cheese from there Sue
Proper cheese!
