Beautiful pictures!
Many thanks, glad you like these 😊
Always lovely to see the tree blossom. April has arrived very cold here. Back to January temperatures, and scraping the car windscreen in the mornings! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yikes! Not quite so cold here, but a bit parky
Beautiful April tree blossom! 🙂 the second one is ver well captured.
Many thanks, Amy! The blossom was great against that wall, and I was pleased with the second image, a touch of ‘View of Toledo’?? Apologies, I linked it incorrectly but corrected it now…
Great capture of Toledo! No problem. Thank you for making a link here. :)
Oh, it’s not Toledo! I was just struck by the similarities with the brooding sky of El Greco’s painting….how vain of me….
It does feel
Like Toledo and I have a Toledo post coming- how cool
Ooh, look forward to your post!
Love your pink on red Sue!
Many thanks, Tina, I thought it was rather striking!
So is this where you have been hiding? Spain?
Not quite…a dip into Madeira and Portugal. All too short
Ooh, Madeira is one place I’d like to visit, but I don’t think the OH would like the heights. How did you cope there?
Well, I didn’t do as much as I would have liked, only had nearly two days, and had a TukTuk tour around Funchal and a fishing village one day, and a trip to some viewpoints the next day. Should have tried to get up a cable car, but that will have to wait for another time, as will the gardens. But I am very constrained these days….
Well you do the best that you can and that’s the main thing. At least you are still travelling!
…and I plan to, for as long as I am able….
Good for you! My brother did too and he was a lot worse than you are, needing a carer to accompany him. It didn’t always go well, he was airlifted back to England on one memorable trip to Spain, but he didn’t let that stop him. MS is such a dreadful disease, most people do not realise the effect on the body.
Well, I’m on the downward slope, but trying not to let it get me down….
I hope you are getting good medical treatment. I know that’s one reason why Adrian move away from Cornwall. I hope he is doing OK.
Adrian Theze? I did wonder what had happened to him….
Such a wonderful photographer.
Indeed
Both pictures are beautiful – and the second does feel like Toledo
Thanks, Prior!
🙂
Beautiful spring shots, Sue. I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine wherever you are this week. 🙂
Back home now, and the sunshine is rather fugitive…..
😦 😦
😟 indeed…dismal today
Great images, Sue. I adore the sky in the second one. As I scrolled down I really thought it was a watercolour coming up! Would be lovely printed. (I’ve been trying out a few different printers, some quite cheap – I’ll show you when we meet up next – will drop you some dates in a minute)
Many thanks, Debbie! The second one is my take on View of Toledo! I need to dramatise it a bit more!
