One Word Sunday – Movement

I haven’t been doing any slow shutter speed stuff recently – time I challenged myself again, so here are some old ones, to show different ways of using movement

A couple of waiters pass each other swiftly in Malaga:

One of my favourite images taken a few years ago of a lady walking rap:

A fleeting glimpse….

And how about slow shutter speed abstracts – this one the landscape of Sicily as my coach whizzed past:

…and this was created by swiftly jerking the camera near a tulip:

  1. Love them all, Sue – but that first one is my favorite!

  2. I think they work best with people, but they are all interesting. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. I love them all too, Sue. The second is my favourite – for me, that is the perfect amount of motion for that shot, and timed perfectly to show the tiled mural in a tunnel I use so much.

  4. I go with the second one as well, Sue, but they’re all excellent for the theme.

  5. I love the waiter photo.

  6. My favourite is the lady walking, though I do love the colours in the two abstract ones.

  7. I love the last one, it looks like silk.

  9. Hi Sue, The waiter image is humorous and tells a story. And, I love the ghostly feel of the second and your abstracts are very appealing. Terrific post.
