Lens-artist’s Photo Challenge #32 – Shadows (2)

Reading a post of Gilly’s this morning  (https://lucidgypsy.com/2019/02/11/lensartist-challenge-shadows/) reminded me of an image with dappled tree shade and shadows I took over 30 years ago – which remains one of my favourites to this day:

Resting in the garden

…and here’s another dappled shade image

Leading somewhere, Jardin d’Agapanthe

Shadows emphasising structure and depth:

Shadows and steps

…and here, emphasising the rock formations:

And shadows adding mystery?

Shadows creating patterns

Railings and shadows2, Matera

…..and finally, a pretend shadow:

  1. Oh, superb selection, Sue. I was particularly seduced by the first image but they are all cracking good photos. Smiled at the last one too!

  2. Some great shadows Sue. I particularly like the ones with steps, and the street art man, of course. He’s Brick Lane isn’t he?

  3. Welcome back Sue – with another terrific response. While they’re all wonderful I’m partial to the pretend shadow – so clever!!

  4. Lovely selection, but the second one does it for me, could sit in that chair reading a book and just enjoy being 🙂

  5. Excellent, Sue. The last one made me smile. 😃

  6. Nice crop pf shadows indeed, Sue. Even the ‘pretend’ one. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  7. Wow – and the last one was hilarious!

  8. Tee Hee! I like the last one 🙂 🙂 And the first!

  9. Amy

Great selections! The last one is really cool. 🙂

  10. That last shot ….great sense of humour…shadows indeed 🙂

  11. Plenty of variety, well done

  12. I’m glad I jogged your memory with my pic, but your wisteria shot is my favourite, closely followed by the hilarious one at the end!

  13. What fun, Sue! I really love the last image.
