The Play of Light

I loved the pattern of bright light here, emerging through the shadows. It’s the light that’s the subject here, not those daffodils-

  1. I always really like these, Sue. You are very good at them. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

    • Sue

Well, I don’t get out to take photos as much as I used to, so it’s seize the moment at home when I see something potential…..if someone had said I would be taking Still Lifes a few years ago, I would have laughed…..

  2. Glorious, Sue! The vase makes it even more stunning with its shadow.

  3. Amy

Wow… the light and shadows are so very well captured!

  4. These sorts of still lives are much more to my taste than those of the old masters with the fruit and the (usually) dead chicken. 🙂

  5. Stunning image! Everything in it is perfect.

  6. I love the reflection of light off the glass. Still, daffodils are my favorite!

  7. Yes it is, and it’s terrific! I like the way the flower heads are in shadow, and all the action happens around the stems and container.

  8. Beautiful capture, Sue. It’s perfect. 😍

  9. The light was a gift to you that day Sue.
