Night (2)

Thought I would have a quick peruse of the archives, and I discover that I have actually been out at night from time to time!

As you will see, my preference is for monochrome, people, and atmosphere….

2003, I think:

Night in Budapest

Warsaw a couple of years ago

Shadow by night

Cordoba a few years ago:

Night time, Cordoba

Malaga night time at a bar

Night tram, Kraków

So I must get out at night more, you can get some good results! What say you?

  1. I remember the shadow of the violinist. Very ‘Third Man’. Love that one! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Very good examples of Night!

  3. What a fantastic selection, Sue, every one a winner! Soooo atmospheric.

  4. Night shooting is definitely fun – patient and particular with a tripod, or reactive and probably-high-ISO’d.
Great shots here Sue. I particularly like the huge shadow in Warsaw, the perfectly timed one-shot in Cordoba, the movement blur in Malaga.

  5. Great black and white images, I remember some of these but always nice to see them again. The Warsaw shadow is clever – she must have a huge spotlight behind that case.

  6. Great finds from your archives, and especially the lamplit musician.

  7. I very much like those photos. They show your skills as a photographer 🙂

  8. You found some beauties. Challenges are great for discovering past photos

  9. You probably go out at night more then I do!

  11. Yes! yes! Definitely more night shots! My favourite is the violinist: the shadows, the depth … wow!

  12. Very amazing capture, especially of the violinist 🙂
