Beauty in Decay – More on balletic daffodils

This morning the sun was very bright through the blinds, so I had another go with yesterday’s decaying daffodil, and another one that appeared slumping this morning.

These images were prepared on the iPad, I really must spend some time on the desktop computer which always yields better results – but I am becoming lazy.

i love the papery appearance of the desiccating petals, not so visible here as on the original image, but you get the idea:

  1. This really is your ‘signature style’, Sue. You do it so well. It would be an idea to get an exhibition in a local gallery, I reckon. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Great capture, Sue. Still elegant if a bit droopy.

  3. Pat

I sure can relate to your “getting lazy” comment. I finally finished a post that I have been working on for a couple of months. I really do feel life slowing down. A part for me is political exhaustion.

  4. Oh so very elegant 😀

  5. Very elegant droop, Sue. And I love the colour.
