On a dull day….

It was a very mizzly Wisley when I went with a friend last week…cold, damp and drizzly, so sadly I wasn’t hanging around to take too many photos of decaying plants.

But I did like the one I posted for Wordless Wednesday last week of some hanging seed pods, and this one which has a little more colour. I do know what the plants in this image are, but my brain won’t give me the name right now:

Ah, hang on, could they be a type of Astilbe?

  1. You were hardy to venture out to Wisley in this weather, Sue. No idea what the plant is called, I’m afraid.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Nicely composed Sue. Good to go into the glasshouse at Wisley in this weather 😀

  3. ‘Mizzly Wisley’, ha! 🙂 On a dull day you can’t see forever… as the song definitely does not go!

  4. The photo is not full at all. The colours are so soft!

  5. Lovely image, Sue. I feel cold and damp just reading your post. 😳

  6. I see a silk scarf design!
