LensArtists Photo Challenge #28: Curves

Tina has come up with ‘Curves’ for this week’s Lens-artists’s challenge, and I shall cheat and delve into my archives.

I immediately thought of railway lines and tunnels, so here are a couple for those:

First, a curve on the roof of the tunnel, and a curve in the track

Deep inside the Maginot tunnel

…and now for railway lines outside Waterloo

Out of Waterloo in the evening

Next up, some curves in an old doorway

and now for a lovely old abbey window with a curve or two

And surely no post of mine with curves could be without the balletic pose of a decaying flower:

  1. Lively curves Sue. I’m partial to your window-on-window composition!

  2. Of course I love them all – but the flower stands out. Beautiful lines.

  3. A nice batch of curves, Sue. And they all fit the bill nicely. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. All great photos Sue, but I do love the tulip!

  5. It’s the Waterloo train lines that do it for me – such a great shot Sue.

  6. I love the flower!! (Of course, I like the other shots, too, but…)

  7. Curvaceous architecture is so gentle in form but your tulip is almost like a painting, beautiful

Love these collection, Sue. Especially the old abbey window with the reflections. The last one is like a beautiful painting. 🙂

  9. Wow, Sue. I love that flower!

  10. Great shots, I especially love the tulip.
