In my post One / 160 we see a man walking in an old cloister, but don’t see much of the cloister. This was the 1524 cloister at Lamego cathedral.
Often, when I have visited such places the light has been seriously lacking, dull and no shadows. This time, I was luckier.
Here are a few photos of the place.
Nice ancient cloisters, Sue. And the shadows are lovely.
Best wishes, Pete.
I was so pleased I visited this place
You had a good camera My friend very beautiful and clear pixel shot
I do have a good camera, Jake! Thankks
Cloisters never disappoint do they Sue?
No, usually fascinating details on the columns, the capitals
I love cloisters, Sue. 🙂 🙂 Never made it to this one.
You should, Jo!
I will! Struggling to put together an itinerary for the Azores, Sue. Chief priority. Once that’s organised I can think about the rest of Portugal 🙂 🙂
The Azores, eh? I went there briefly on the way back from a cruise, and loved it! 😊😊💕
Lovelycloister, and you have played nicely with the light and shadows Sue.
I was lucky with the light when I was there!
Luck and skill — good combination 🙂
Indeed!
Lovely shadows
Thanks, Pauline!
I am fond of cloisters too and you captured the light and shadows perfectly.
I was determined to!
