The 1524 cloister of Lamego cathedral

In my post One / 160 we see a man walking in an old cloister, but don’t see much of the cloister. This was the 1524 cloister at Lamego cathedral.

Often, when I have visited such places the light has been seriously lacking, dull and no shadows. This time, I was luckier.

Here are a few photos of the place.

  1. Nice ancient cloisters, Sue. And the shadows are lovely.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. jakesprinter

  3. Cloisters never disappoint do they Sue?

  4. I love cloisters, Sue. 🙂 🙂 Never made it to this one.

  5. Lovelycloister, and you have played nicely with the light and shadows Sue.

  6. I am fond of cloisters too and you captured the light and shadows perfectly.
