  3. Great! I went there once, 25 years ago. It looks better in your shots than I remember. I really only remember the heat on the surface in some places. You could boil an egg there.

  4. I have visited Lanzarote many times, those vineyards always were fascinating for me. I assumed it was party to do with the wind also and how each vine needs protection from the elements. I am probably going to spend a day in Lanzarote next week as I travel to Fuerteventura on Saturday.

  5. I like your stone circles, Sue, both short and tall. The vine irrigation and protection is very clever, and I’ve never seen anything similar.

      Thanks Debbie….I was very disappointed at Callanish, because we had miserable weather…..in my mind I had seen those stones against a blue sky!
