I have been trying to locate a post done some years ago, to no avail…
I did find, however, that I had uploaded the image, so here it is. All this because Brenda (meditativejourneywith saldage) had been talking about Street Portraits.
I had a good chat with this jolly older chap who was playing the keyboard to fundraise for a charity, and he was happy for me to take some images. He was sat in a tunnel in Shoreditch which allowed for some great chiaroscuro effects, but…big mistake, I didn’t get any catchlights in his eyes. Perhaps the smile makes up for that – he had a very expressive face:

Happy
Brilliant photo, Sue. Happy, happy smile.
Happy, happy indeed, Tish!
He certainly looks very happy, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yay!
What a happy chap! 🙂 🙂
He was!
Great smile. 🙂
Yep!
I bet he played happy music too
Very jolly!
😄
He’s lovely, you can tell he’s a really nice bloke.
Salt of the earth…
You may not have a got a catchlight, but you’ve revealed the character of the man very well.
Pleased you think so, Andy!
