Lens artists photo challenge #21: Splash

Patti has us thinking about water, with her prompt ‘splash’….so here are some images from me, showcasing water in motion.

Waves making a splash, as a surfer attempts to ride them at the Devon coast:

Ride those waves!

Splashing water at a fountain in a garden:

Waves hitting the remains of sea defences on the Norfolk coast:

Waves gently rippling on the Devon coast

….and finally, the sea in the evening, gently splashing on the beach as the sun sets:

  1. I’m glad you joined the challenge this week. 🙂 My favorite in your collection is the Devon coast. Lovely shot! Your really captured the ripples in the sand and in the water. Lovely.

  2. I love the second last one specially. How’ cold weather treating you?

  3. Wonderfully wet images, Sue. 🙂 🙂 Second and third are my favourites. The last one looks like the Canaries?

  4. They are very ‘splashy’ but prefer to walk on the beach with the soothing sound of soft waves. First shot is awesome, Sue.

  5. Terrific splashes, Sue. I love the image with the couple walking on the beach.

  6. I love the one with the gently ripping waves! ❤

  7. Where is the fountain?….. but if we are choosing a favourite I will go with Ride the Waves. 🙂

  8. Good choices, Sue. I like the Norfolk coast one, showing how the sea is slowly reclaiming the county. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  9. Love the Norfolk one Sue – not much of a defence left there though.

  10. Lovely varied selection for the challenge. Hope it is not too cold in your part of the world

  11. All lively Sue but my favorite is the Devon shot. Colors are wonderful

  12. Lovely, Sue! My absolute favorite is the diagonals of the Devon coast. Love the colours there as well.

  13. Can’t choose a favorite, Sue, but I enjoyed them all.

    Wow, great captures, Sue!
