Lens Artist’s Photo Challenge #14: Windows

I’m going to display a diversity of windows here, as, like many people, I frequently seem to capture images of them

They might be old, and the glass gone

They might have ghostly faces:

Ghosts of Shoreditch past?

…marvellous reflections:

They might be being cleaned:

Here are som examples of beautiful modern stained glass:

….or here are strange, otherworldly reflections:

  1. Oh marvellous, Sue! Absolutely love that rusty grille in Craco (where is that located…?) and the last one with enigmatic reflections! So many worlds and thoughts.

  2. Wow! A great mix Sue. I love the Shoreditch one, and the modern stained glass. And the reflections, and the rust 🙂

  3. Impressive collection of beautiful windows, Sue!

  4. A great selection here, Sue. The old glass-less ones are very evocative.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. These are absolutely stunning Sue – each one more amazing than the last. Love your post this week!!

  6. An interesting variety Sue, I do like the modern stained glass, such lovely contrasting colours.

  7. I really love the windows you shared here – and my favorite is the man on the ladder cleaning windows. I can see why you paused to take it (how many shots of this did you grab?) – well I like SO much there- the lines of the ladder steps – the old lights – the old gutter –
the shapes int he window pane and then there is this nice imaginary line going from blue bucket to the blue jeans to the blue glove….
and I also like people at work –
this is a top picture for me from all the entries I have seen so far for the challenge #14

  8. Great collection, Sue. Love your choices.

  9. Love the rust and decay on the boarded up window in Craco…

  10. Ooh a great collection Sue!
