Sunburst – an experiment

I am supposed to be doing some chores today, but hey, I’m easily distracted. A burst of light through my front room blinds:

  1. I like this a lot, very ‘retro’. Being picky, I might have ‘lost’ whatever that is at the bottom though, (Pepper mill? Bottle top?) as it drew my eye too much. Scroll it down out of view, and see what you think. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. You’ve practically created your own white balance grey card with this scene.

  3. Sigh… how easy we are to be distracted from household chores. I’m sorting out the new laptop – why are there so many thousands of updates? Managed to clean one window. And make chicken soup. It is a chicken soup kind of day.

A nice distraction! Very cool shot. 🙂

  5. A passionate photographer always finds a welcome distraction to her daily chores, Sue!

  6. Well, now that I know what you ladies have to eat… I had fish and chips at Whitby, with the walkers. 🙂 🙂 Awfully nice! Compensation for dismal weather.

  7. I’m being distracted right now, when I should be writing, cooking etc. But I applaud your distraction. As Pete says, v. retro.

  8. Distractions are mostly good…I returned from a not that ideal work at 1.30 a.m. Working with the election. Still not feeling at all good about the outcome for Sweden for the next four years. Strong right winds against research and climate questions etc. Winds blowing all over Europe. So thank you for a lovely distraction!

  9. Nicely caught, pepper mill and all. 👏🏻😍
