One Word Sunday: Muse (as noun and as verb)

Well, muse as a verb is to contemplate, reflect, mull over….

So here’s a self – portrait I took as a silhouette earlier this year of me doing just that….. I shall suggest I was musing over the departure of my poetry Muse (muse as noun)……. I am being lazy here, this shot has been shown on this blog before

  1. It’s a great selfie Sue – a silhouette with just enough detail to know that it really is Thinking Sue. Great for the muse theme.”

When I got to this week’s challenge myself, I wondered why I had chosen such a difficult word. It had been something to do with museum (house of muses) and I know I felt inspired at the time, but my “musablility” seemed to drift away until I watched the Frida film.

  2. I remember it, but it suits ‘musing’ well.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Nice catch ! I also love the picture ! 🙂

  4. “We are not amused.”

  5. Impressive selfie – I like this silhouette very much

  6. I’m glad you posted this photo again, I hadn’t seen it before. Great self shot.

  7. Nice selfie. I think it’s hard to do them well, but this really works.
