  1. Some version of Santa perhaps? That a weird hat! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. It’s certainly very fetching. Just found this on an Alsace tourism sight having deciphered the Pfifferdaj: The Minstrels Festival is the oldest in Alsace and perpetuates the links between the lords of Ribeaupierre and the minstrels they protected. Each year, this great, authentic encounter with the Middle Ages takes place on the first Sunday in September. The theme conjures up different images of Mediaeval history: peasant life, castle life, domestic or fabulous animals, buildings, travel, discovery, work, trades, beliefs, fortunes and misfortunes.

  3. Whatever it is it is pretty amazing! And very pink!

  4. Interesting picture! Sorry, I can’t help you with its interpretation, Sue!

  5. Definitely curious, Sue! 🙂 🙂 A touch of the Merlins?

  6. Tish is a superstar with her sleuthing.. fabulous pink x

  7. Interesting and cool, Sue. Glad Tish sussed out the meaning.
