It always amazes me when one comes across such substantial Roman remains.
I know, I was gobsmacked….middle of nowhere (I’ve now got to see if I can work out where it was!). I was actually looking for one in the French Pyrenees, I think, or the Cathar region, but this image popped up first!
Happy hunting.
😀😀
Always fascinating to see such ancient architecture. And I like the angle of the shot too.
Best wishes, Pete.
I wanted to get those shadows in!
Isn’t this beautiful? I could just fancy ambling down this lane right now. 🙂 🙂
It was an unexpected delight!
That’s amazing
Quite a sight!
Beautiful.
Impressive, certainly
Lovely capture of an ancient structure, Sue!
It was a great sight!
It amazes me that they could build like that back then. People haven’t changed much.
😊
Amazing, it looks fragile but no doubt it will stand a lot longer yet!
No doubt it will!
