In Kazimierz, Krakow

Converted this to a sketch, seemed less obtrusive (I wasn’t originally going to post it)

  1. Given the fate of Polish Jews after 1939, this has a real poignancy, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Now you’ve really wakened my interest in this format. I often worry about being obtrusive. This works brilliantly. So much detail, yet distanced.

  3. The sketch effect makes life become history and vice versa
p.s. thanks for the language refresh between intrusive/obtrusive

  4. It’s life, not obtrusive. 🙂

  5. I’m glad you changed it so that you felt free to post it. A wonderful composition. As a black and white sketch it does not appear (to me, at least) intrusive.

  6. Nice job, Sue, turning a photo into a piece of art!

  7. Oh yes! Works perfectly, Sue. I like this very much. 🙂 🙂

  8. I love this conversion to a sketch. How did you do it?

  9. I think this is a wonderful sketch. Obtrusive? I wouldn’t say so. A snapshot of a particular way of life. But I understand your reluctance to publish it.

  10. It works very well Sue!
