Six-word challenge nailed, Sue! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yay!
It does indeed. Lovely geraniums in the background and those tall purple thingies 🙂
You mean you can’t tell me what them thingies are!! 🙄
Salvia or Veronicastrum maybe 😉
Ah, yes, they seem to be keen on their salvias….
Lovely 🙂
Thanks, Lynne! I was pleased with this
It has a lovely dreamy look about it, not sure if it it would work the other way around. The light bounces of the yellow 🙂
Yes, you have a point there!
I am now going into the garden to take some photos and see what happens……not a lot, not that good at taking flowers….but practice and all that 🙂
Do you use either aperture priority or manual mode? You need to in order to get impressionistic stuff!
I was going to try aperture priority and I was going to have a go today, but the six foot high nettles and thistles were in control and needed to be eradicated 🙂
Ooooops!
yep oooooooops 🙂
Oh the benefits of a wide aperture! So few take advantage of the effects it creates. Lovely image, Sue!
Well, a lot of people use zooms which don’t have the widest of apertures, and many people don’t use manual, or aperture priority…. I want to be creative, and for that you can’t just ‘point and shoot’ 😳
Gorgeous, Sue. Great capture, and blue/yellow is my favourite flower combination
Many thanks! Yes, blue yellow has great appeal
Yes! Great colour combination. And great combination of sharpness and blur.
Yippee! Thought you would like it, Meg !
