One / 146

Sadly, the last ‘One’ from Krakow.

Here is another marvellous background (to my eye, anyway) – Krakow had just the right amount of wonderful old buildings, and some deliciously decrepit, too. Plus, the bonus of a sunny day and those deep, dark shadows in contrast to the bright white of the woman’s blouse in the light.

I think she was enjoying a coffee and cake:

    Perfect pic!

  7. It’s when you get off the main streets and into the back alleys of any major town or city that you find something ‘authentic’, that speaks eloquently of that place. These are the images that the ordinary tourist misses. Lovely shot, Ann. A quiet backwater captured.

  8. Wonderful image, Sue, for all the reasons you stated. 😃

  9. What a wonderful moodiness in this shot. The light is great.
