Adieu to yer, and yer and yer

Well, these roses have dessicated most elegantly….crackling when the vase is moved, but in appearance almost intact:

And on the adieu front, I think I shall be slowing down, and even disappearing for a short while ….resuming normal blogging in a week or three…..

  1. Beautiful photographic painting, Sue!

  2. Have a good break. Keep thinking I should do likewise. Will look forward to your return 🙂

  3. Whatever were they thinking about, with that awful song in The Sound of Music’?
Oh, the roses. Very nice, especially that leaf in the centre.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. And enjoy your break. See you in a few weeks. 🙂

  5. These ones are smiling, not weeping! Tell you what, the dying of lilac wasn’t at all photogenic.

  6. And now I read the end. I hope the slow down is wise choice, not enforced. May it replenish you

  7. Lovely goodbyes from the roses – and enjoy your break!

  8. The heat getting to you, Sue? 25C here today. Unheard of for early May. 🙂 🙂 You’re away soon, aren’t you? Take good care of yourself and I’ll see you around.

  9. Lovely! Enjoy your break 🙂

  10. Suzanne

All the best Sue. Have a good rest. Your photo is superb – one of your best yet.

  11. An appropriate image to farewell us with. Have a lovely and refreshing break. See you later….

  13. Flowers are beautiful. Hope you are going away for reasons that are fun.

  14. That’s really what I like about roses. They stay beautiful longer after they have withered. Enjoy the break from blogging!

  15. That’s beautiful. Have a good break, Sue. All the best, take care. Wishing you a lovely trip. x

  16. Gorgeous! These roses seem to be captured in time.
