Time to kill two blog challenges with one stone, so to speak. so two images for Black & White Sunday After and Before, and they also cover One Word Sunday this week, which is ‘Joyful’
Linked to Black & White Sunday at Paula’s here
and One Word Sunday at Debs’ here
I like the second one.
Many thanks!
She certainly embodies ‘joyful.’ I like both edits, but perhaps that burst of red in the first adds to the joyous mood of the shot.
Perhaps it does! Glad you like these, Su
Definitely joyful Sue. The black and white lions for me too – the expression on her face seems to stand out more without the distraction of red.
Yes, I’m torn…monochrome for the expression in detail, but red for a happy pop!
Oh, I love it in B&W. And for a moment there I thought it was Sunday already!!
I’ve been thinking its Saturday today….
Me too!
What’s wrong with us?
😀 😀
😊
I like the colour one best this time, more joyful…
Fair enough!
Joy is noticeable in both images. Happy Easter, Sue!
Thanks, Peter! And hope you and yours have a lovely Easter!
So you have, Sue! And well done to you 🙂 🙂 I am uplifted. Happy Easter! Staying out of harm’s way/seeing friends?
Thanks, Jo! I have a quiet weekend, but am having lunch with a friend on Sunday You?
DIY and tidying the house. It’s wet at present so we may as well. Maybe Leeds and an Easter egg hunt on Sunday. 🙂 🙂
Well, yes, I’m attending to a few overdue jobs this weekend!
I tend to prefer the colour shot on this occasion. I like the colours on her hat, and don’t find anything distracting from her happy face.
Best wishes, Pete.
We all see things in our own ways, and glad you like these, Pete
Love the b & w one, Happy Easter Sue 🙂
Thanks, Lynne! And Happy Easter to you!

Beautiful, candide image, Sue. I can only see the one in colour.
Weird, it was fine a few days ago! Anyway, I have just corrected it, and you should see the monochrome image now….let me know what you think!
Done 🙂
Yay!
Oh yes, I can see it now, and I really love it in Black and White! The rim of her hat in black really accentuates her head and draws my eyes to her face/expression/smile. Really good job!
Yay! Really pleased you like it, Paula!
