I would rather be travelling…..

Right now, I would rather be exploring somewhere new…. I’m going stir crazy as I’ve not been out and about much, weather and lack of mobility have put paid to that.

So, should I be this person:

Side street,Matera

or one of these:

On Charles Bridge

or this one:

Whatever, it would be great to be wandering interesting, unfamiliar streets….

  1. That restless feeling comes after a dreary winter. I hope you will be roaming the streets soon in search of something interesting. Greetings from still snow covered Canada!

  2. I know that feeling so well, Sue. We’ve only been back 2 weeks but it seems like forever! Have you got anything booked? 🙂 🙂

  3. Are you in MS support group, Sue? I know they were very helpful getting A. to cope with his mobility problem. An electric wheelchair takes him and his camera around, it’s absolutely amazing. The sun came out in Cley today, just in time for spring equinox. Hope you feel warmer and better soon. Xx

I go to a physio run MS exercise class, and my MS nurse has organised me a wheelchair which I can use locally, but don’t have an adapted car to take it further afield unless I use trains.

  4. Ah, the Charles Bridge. I loved Prague, but we went there in January, so didn’t escape the winter. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. I’ve been feeling unmotivated too. Can’t be bothered to leave the house most days and fear I am becoming a recluse! No doubt some warmer temperatures and sunny days will get me moving again.

  6. I so know the feeling, Sue. And we have snow today, March 21, here in Virginia. Will winter ever end? I recognized Charles Bridge right away as we were just in Prague in October. 🙂

  7. I so hope you start getting some better weather soon. From all that I’m hearing and seeing, this seems like the most miserable winter in a long time.

  8. There’s mileage in interesting familiar streets too! This morning in one yard I saw 4 wooducks, an emu and a wallaby. However, I can hear your frustrations with weather and mobility. What are the plans for sightseeing in Kraków? And where in the Tatras? Independently? Accompanied? See! I can be nosey too.

  9. Go mad Sue and be all three 🙂 Great b & w photos and soon the weather will change and we will all feel better….it better do 🙂 Lynne

  10. I’m dying to be somewhere too!

  11. I do hope your weather improves soon Sue and you start to feel better, I would like to send you some of our surplus sunshine. I know that restless feeling well but mine is at the other end of the scale. I sort of hibernate in the heat and humidity of mid summer, no energy then. But now with autumn here and cooler weather I am getting all my energy back and starting to plan….

  12. Poor unsuspecting tourists Sue – little did they know they were starring in your travelogue!!

  14. Sorry a little late finding this but loved the photos and sense of wandering
