Possibly a series to come, or possibly not. I was trying to locate a lost pair of keys, organise some tidying, then the late afternoon sun arrived.
I love that this is almost monochrome, the strong, almost segmented image, and lots of lovely negative space as counterpoint to the details:
A bold image, with some great tones.
Feels like ‘film noir’, Sue.
Nice work.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yippee! Enter Betty Bacall, stage left!, And is that Edward G Robinnson….
Impressive display of light!
Many thanks, Peter!
I so admire the way you orchestrate the light.
Thanks,Tish! But I don’t orchestrate it, I just look out for it….and I’m getting more tuned in to it
Mmmm… when the light comes through my windows all it does is highlight the dust!
Well, it does here too!!
sumptuous is the word that comes to mind.
Well, there’s a word!
You certainly have a good eye for the light Sue
Thanks, Pauline…I’m developing it… I never used to see the possibilities in the past
definitely one for a series – always having to remind my camera to go looking for the light rather than the objects
I’ll see if I feel up to a series, Laura!!
Looks lovely and tidy at you place. The sun highlights too much dust and cobwebs here, time to do some spring cleaning! 🙂
My front room is tidy, but you should see my study….!!! Plenty of dust, paperwork etc
A different challenge – from whom?
