In the Frame

On a freezing cold day, I chose to remain indoors, in the warm. The sun was streaming into my front room, so naturally I had to make use of the light……and this is the result, on my iPad:

In processing this image, I note it has a bit of a ‘cast’, so I need to have a go on the Mac, see if I can improve it – I love the play of the shadows with the tulips.

  1. Cast or not, (which I didn’t notice) it worked well for me, Sue. Continuing a very nice series.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Shadows are so beautifully sharp. What is cast? (I could look it up but I’m lazy!)

  3. How beautifully understated.

  4. This little sun lit corner is a favourite place for your play with light, nicely done…

  5. The cast doesn’t really bother me. Lovely to see Tulips in bloom, reminds us of Spring…feels rather distant right not. My son is working in Amsterdam currently and the canals are freezing for the first time in years. we reminded him to visit the tulip fields in a few weeks – I don’t think they will be liking this weather.

  6. Only you would notice the green cast Sue, the rest of us just see a lovely image.
